Book skilled techs. On call. On your floor.
Bayzo is the marketplace where collision and mechanic shops book on-call contract technicians for body and frame, paint, mechanical, and PDR work. Shops get help when the bays are full. Techs get real work on their own terms.
More capacity. Zero new payroll.
When the bays are full or a specialty job comes in, Bayzo puts a verified contract tech on your floor. Here's how it works from your side, step by step.
- 1Post the job
Pick the trade: body/frame, paint, mechanical, or PDR. Add the details of the work and set the rate you'll pay for the job.
- 2Pick your tech, or use Instant Book
Choose from the techs who apply. Or use Instant Book: the job is offered to the best-matched tech first, and that tech has a 10-minute window to accept.
- 3See exactly who you're booking
Every tech has a public profile with before/after photos of their work, two-way ratings from past jobs, and a reliability score. The reliability score counts only no-shows and late cancellations, so it shows whether a tech turns up when booked.
- 4Payment is held, then released on your approval
Your payment is held when you book. It's released to the tech only after you approve the finished job. Then you rate the tech, and the tech rates your shop.
- 5Know what it costs
You pay a commission on each booking: 10% pay-as-you-go, or 7% as a member. Here's what that looks like on one job.
Worked example$1,000 jobJob amount $1,000 Bayzo fee at 10% (pay as you go) $100 Bayzo fee at 7% (member rate) $70 Member saving on this job $30 Illustrative fee example only. See Pricing for membership costs and how the 7% fee cap applies.
- 6Tax paperwork handled
Bayzo collects each tech's W-9 at onboarding and handles year-end 1099s, so you aren't chasing contractor paperwork.
Your skills. Your terms.
You're a professional, not an on-demand worker. Here's how Bayzo works from your side, step by step.
- 1Jobs come to you. Accept what you want.
Jobs inside your travel radius that meet your minimum rate come to you. Accept the ones you want and pass on the rest. When a shop uses Instant Book and you're the best match, you get the first offer and a 10-minute window to accept.
- 2Set your minimum, schedule, and radius
Choose the lowest rate you'll accept, the days you're available, and how far you'll travel. You only see jobs inside that ring, on the days you work.
- 3See what you take home
Techs pay a 5% fee on booked work. Here's what that looks like on one job.
Earnings example$1,000 jobJob amount $1,000 Bayzo tech fee (5%) −$50 To you $950 Illustrative example only.
- 4Get paid fast
The shop's payment is held when the job is booked, so the money is there before you start. It's released when the shop approves the job, with a target payout of 24–48 hours.
- 5Your reliability score, explained
Only two things count against it: no-shows and late cancellations. Show up when you're booked and it stays strong.
- 6Decline without penalty
Declining a job never hurts your rating. Your rating reflects the quality of your work, not how many jobs you accept.
Post. Book. Work. Get paid.
One job, two sides, one simple flow. Every job runs through Bayzo from booking to payout.
Shops
Shop side- Post the job
Choose the trade (body/frame, paint, mechanical, or PDR), set your rate, and add the details.
- Pick your tech or use Instant Book
Choose from the techs who apply. Or use Instant Book, which offers the job to the best match first with a 10-minute window to accept.
- Payment is held
Your payment is held when you book. Nothing goes to the tech until you approve.
- Approve and rate
Approve the finished work and rate the tech. Payment is then released.
Techs
Tech side- Set up your profile
Add your trades, minimum rate, available days, and travel radius. Your W-9 is done at sign-up.
- Get matched
Jobs inside your radius that meet your minimum come to you. Accept the ones you want and pass on the rest.
- Show up and do the work
Bring your own tools and transportation. Painters bring their own gun.
- Get paid and rated
Once the job is approved, payment is released with a target payout of 24–48 hours. Ratings go both ways.
Held payments
The shop's payment is held at booking and released when the job is approved. Shops know the work gets done, and techs know the money is there.
Two-way ratings
Shops rate techs and techs rate shops on every job. Good work builds a reputation on both sides.
Reliability score
The score tracks whether a tech shows up as booked. Only no-shows and late cancellations count against it, never declines.
Coverage choice
Shops choose their own coverage or add per-job occupational-accident coverage at booking.
Simple fees. Pay when you book.
There's no monthly subscription required to book. Shops pay a commission on each booking, and an annual membership lowers that rate and unlocks more tools.

Techs pay a 5% fee on booked work. You set your own minimum rate, and the target payout is 24–48 hours after the shop approves the job.
When a shop hires a tech directly through Ready-for-Hire, the placement fee is $500 and comes with a 90-day guarantee.
Per-job coverage is optional. Shops may use their own coverage instead. Bayzo is not an insurance company.
Markets never open cold.
Every Bayzo tech works a 60-mile radius, so the techs who build one market already reach the next one. Coverage spreads ring by ring, and each new market opens with techs already in range.
- 6060-mile radius per tech
A tech's working ring overlaps the next town down the road.
- ↻Ring by ring
Each market feeds the one next to it, so coverage grows outward from Slidell to the west and east.
- ✓Opens only when it's ready
A market opens only when it has enough verified techs and committed shops. See the threshold below.

Straight answers.
What is Bayzo?
Bayzo is a marketplace app where collision and mechanic shops book on-call contract technicians for body and frame, paint, mechanical, and PDR work. Shops post jobs and pick a tech, or use Instant Book. Techs set their minimums, control their schedule and travel radius, and get rated on every job.
Where is Bayzo launching first?
Slidell and the Gulf South North Shore come first. From there, Bayzo expands west to Hammond and then Baton Rouge, and east to Gulfport, Biloxi, and then Mobile.
When does my market open?
No launch date has been announced. A market opens only when it has 20 or more verified techs and 15–20 shops, so joining the waitlist is how your area gets there faster.
What does it cost shops?
Shops pay a 10% commission per booking. Members pay 7%. Membership is $179 per year, with the 7% fee capped at the first $6,000 of bookings. Pro is $399 per year, with the 7% fee capped at the first $13,300 of bookings. Direct hires carry a $500 placement fee with a 90-day guarantee.
What does it cost techs?
Techs pay a 5% fee on booked work. You set the minimum rate you'll accept.
How do payments work?
The shop's payment is held when the job is booked and released when the shop approves the work. The target payout to techs is 24–48 hours.
How does Instant Book work?
Instant Book offers the job to the best-matched tech first, who has a 10-minute window to accept. Shops can also post a job and choose a tech themselves.
Will declining jobs hurt my rating as a tech?
No. Ratings reflect the quality of your work. Your reliability score only counts no-shows and late cancellations, not declines.
Do techs need their own tools?
Yes. Techs bring their own tools and transportation, and painters bring their own gun.
What about insurance?
Shops have a choice. They can use their own coverage, or add per-job occupational-accident coverage when booking. Bayzo is not an insurance company.
Who handles the tax paperwork?
Bayzo does. W-9s are collected when techs sign up, and year-end 1099s are handled.
Can I hire a tech permanently?
Yes. Members can use Ready-for-Hire to find techs who are open to a permanent position. Direct hires carry a $500 placement fee with a 90-day guarantee.
